Aseguran que el robo de neumáticos creció un 30%
Según revelaron desde Cesvi, la principal causa es la traba a las importaciones y advierten que la modalidad recrudece en octubre y noviembre porque la gente compra cubiertas nuevas para irse de vacaciones.
El robo de neumáticos se incrementó un 30 por ciento en el país si se comparan las denuncias de 2009 con las de 2010, según se reveló desde el Cesvi.
Fabián Pons de Cesvi advirtió también de lo peligroso de la modalidad. “Lo peor no es que te roben los neumáticos, lo peor es que te lo aflojen, no te lo lleguen a robar, y después te puedas matar en una ruta, como le pasó a la periodista Mónica Gutiérrez que casi se mata en la Panamericana”.
“En octubre o noviembre, recrudece la modalidad porque la gente compra neumáticos para irse de vacaciones”, relató al tiempo que vinculó esta metodología de robo con las restricciones a la importación de neumáticos de autos importados: “Este delito creció como consecuencia directa a las restricciones a la importación”.
Según Pons, “ya no se trata de una modalidad tonta. Hay bandas que se tirotean con la policía para robar ruedas, y eso es grave”.
