En la mañana de Radio 9 Martín Barral, quien fuera condenado a un año y tres meses de prisión como responsable de “homicidio culposo” por la muerte del niño Lucas Romero, visitó nuestros estudios acompañado por su abogado defensor el Dr. Gustavo Soppelsa. En la entrevista los invitados quisieron dejar en claro que lo publicado por distintos medios de nuestra ciudad no se ajusta a verdad, ya que el fallo no está firme tal como lo asienten en sus respectivas publicaciones. El abogado además sigue sosteniendo su hipótesis que involucra a la familia del niño ya que según su teoría el menor habría fallecido dentro de su propia casa atacado por el perro de la familia.
