Contra la pena de muerte a homosexuales en Uganda
En Uganda pretenden impulsar una legislación para aplicar pena de muerte a lesbianas, gays, bisexuales y transexuales.
La noticia despertó preocupación en todo el mundo, también en la Argentina. Este proyecto de ley se presentará para votación en las próximas 72 horas.
Se creó un sitio en la web que se armó para frenar este atropello a los derechos humanos, en el cual puede leerse: “En las próximas 72 horas los legisladores conservadores podrían mover un proyecto de ley que haría que ser, Lesbiana, Gay. Bisexual o Transexual en Uganda es un delito punible con la muerte”.
Se agrega que “Este proyecto de ley de odio es parte de un patrón de represión violenta del gobierno de Uganda de las fuerzas democráticas en el país – y se acaba el tiempo para detenerlo”.
