Cuba levanta las restricciones para entrar y salir de la isla
El presidente cubano Raúl Castro anunció el sábado que se eliminará una de las prohibiciones más cuestionadas a nivel local e internacional: la de entrar y salir libremente del país.
Es la primera vez en 50 años de Revolución que cae ese sensible tema en un avance aperturista ligado con el difícil presente que soporta la isla comunista.
El jefe de Estado, cuyo programa de reformas había estado significativamente paralizado pero que parece ahora haber tomado nuevo vuelo, advirtió que la anhelada reforma migratoria no será abrupta sino que se dará en forma “paulatina” y la calificó de “significativa” para el futuro del país caribeño.
Castro admitió en el mensaje la gravedad de la corrupción en Cuba, denunció que ese problema está haciendo tambalear a la Revolución y a las reformas en marcha y lo definió como una cuestión “contrarrevolucionaria”.
