Curas austríacos se rebelan contra el Vaticano y quieren que las mujeres den misa
Un sector de la Iglesia católica austríaca rebelde se manifestó dispuesto a desobedecer las reglas del Vaticano al permitir a las mujeres predicar en sus misas.
La iniciativa fue comunicada por Helmut Schueller, representante del grupo integrado por unos 250 curas que lleva años luchando –aun sin éxito- por la admisión de mujeres y hombres casados al sacerdocio.
Pero el desafío a la reglas de la Santa Sede no terminó ahí. Además, administraron la comunión a divorciados. “Creo que podemos crear confianza en la Iglesia haciendo visibles estas prácticas”, consideró Schueller.
Una encuesta realizada hace un año muestra que el 80% de los sacerdotes austríacos está a favor de abolir la prohibición del matrimonio para los curas, y un 51% defiende además que las mujeres puedan ejercer ese sacramento.
