EE.UU: arrestan a un físico que planeaba atacar el Pentágono
Diez años después del 11 de setiembre del 2001, las autoridades norteamericanas anunciaron el desbaratamiento de un nuevo plan para atentar contra el Pentágono y el Capitolio, esta vez usando aviones a control remoto cargados de explosivos plásticos C-4.
Lo que parecería la idea de un extremista alocado tuvo más sentido para el ministerio de Justicia cuando se supo que el acusado, Reawan Ferdaus, de 26 años, es un graduado en física de la Universidad, de Boston, en Massachusetts.
Como ocurrió en arrestos similares, el aspirante a terrorista cayó cuando entregó materiales a agentes encubiertos de la policía federal, el FBI.
En este caso, el físico entregó a los agentes, que se hacían pasar por militantes de Al Qaeda, teléfonos celulares modificados para ser utilizados como detonadores.
