Fue hallado el cuerpo de Ramón Amaya
Fuentes confirmaron a 03442, que el cadáver del infortunado hombre, fue encontrado por personal de la Prefectura Naval, que realizaba recorridas desde hacía una semana, buscando con diferentes embarcaciones sobre la zona del río Uruguay y riacho Itapé.
Al parecer un pescador, alrededor de las 10.30, avistó algo que llamó su atención en el corte San Miguel, altura del kilómetro 163, a unos dos kilómetros al sur de las torres de alta tensión, por lo que dio aviso a los prefecturianos que rastrillaban en las proximidades.
Ante este alerta, acudió el Guardacostas GC 174, cuyo personal descubrió que se trataba del cuerpo de Ayama, por lo que dieron aviso a las autoridades y procedieron al traslado hasta el Puerto de Concepción del Uruguay.
El arribo de la nave se produjo alrededor de las 13.20, haciéndose presente personal de bomberos y médico forense, así como familiares del pescador que reconocieron el cuerpo, que momentos más tarde fue trasladado a la morgue del hospital Justo José de Urquiza, para ser sometido a una autopsia y confirmar los motivos de su muerte, desconociéndose hasta el momento si presentaba signos de violencia.
