La AFIP allanó las oficinas de Cencosud por supuesto contrabando
La justicia allanó hoy las oficinas de la firma chilena Cencosud. La medida se tomó tras la denuncia que la AFIP elaboró por una supuesta estafa que la empresa -propietaria de los supermercados Jumbo, Disco y Vea, Easy y de los Shopping Centers Unicenter, Plaza Oeste y Portal de Rosario-, habría cometido con mercadería donada por Argentina y que habría sido vendida en Chile.
Los operativos, que se realizaron en las oficinas que el grupo chileno tiene en el Shopping Unicenter, tuvieron como objetivo recabar la documentación necesaria para comprobar si efectivamente existió el contrabando documentado que investigó la AFIP.
Desde el organismo que dirige Ricardo Echegaray confirmaron que Cencosud despachó una donación a Chile por un valor superior a los US$ 7 millones luego del terremoto que ese país sufrió en febrero del año pasado.
Como la mercadería entró bajo el “Régimen de Envíos de Asistencia y Salvamento” se eximió al cargamento de impuestos.
Sin embargo, a partir de denuncias de diputados chilenos, se habría descubierto que la empresa en vez de donar la mercadería la vendió a la Oficina Nacional de Emergencia Chilena, un organismo de asistencia estatal del país vecino.
