La familia de Facundo Cabral no viaja a Guatemala a repatriar sus restos y se encargará la Embajada
Ernesto López, embajador argentino en Guatemala, declaró que la familia de Facundo Cabral, asesinado en este sábado, no viajará al país centroamericano y que los restos serán repatriados el martes.
Se había informado que la esposa del cantautor, Silvia Pousa, sería la encargada de regresar el cuerpo, pero el funcionario expresó que ella y la familia está “muy dolida e imposibilitada”, por lo que la Embajada se encargará de la repatriación.
Según el sitio web del diario guatemalteco Prensa Libre, faltan trámites por hacer y se estimó que el martes sería el día del traslado y que ya se tiene una reserva en un vuelo comercial, pagada por el gobierno de Guatemala.
Por el momento se desconoce si habrá actos oficiales en ese país para despedir los restos, aunque desde ayer rigen tres días de duelo nacional por la trágica muerte del cantautor.
