La navegabilidad del río Uruguay fue el eje del encuentro que Urribarri mantuvo con Mujica en Montevideo
El presidente uruguayo José Pepe Mujica y el gobernador Sergio Urribarri, mantuvieron un encuentro en Montevideo, oportunidad en la que dialogaron sobre el avance de las relaciones comerciales y la reactivación ferroviaria, además de integración regional.
La navegabilidad del río Uruguay fue el tema central de la agenda: “Se está iniciando el dragado de emergencia y posterior definitivo en Concepción del Uruguay.
Y hay una iniciativa del gobierno oriental que nos entusiasma y que es poder navegar aguas arriba de Concordia”, señaló el mandatario provincial.
En tanto, sobre los vínculos comerciales, remarcó: “Le contamos cómo le está yendo a nuestros empresarios, que están desarrollando negocios con sus pares uruguayos, ya que existen grandes oportunidades para distintos sectores productivos”.
En el cónclave no se discutió sobre el monitoreo ni la actividad de la pastera de UPM (ex Botnia) emplazada en Fray Bentos.
La reunión se enmarcó en las actividades de la Semana de Entre Ríos en el vecino país.
