Mujica choca con resistencias internas al impuesto a los latifundios
El proyecto del presidente José Mujica para gravar las tierras de más de 2.000 hectáreas, entre las que hay muchas cuyos propietarios son argentinos, está en el tapete por estas horas.
A pesar de que el mandatario defiende a capa y espada la iniciativa, varios integrantes del gabinete y legisladores se han pronunciado en contra, fundamentalmente por cómo está enfocada, o sea que si hoy llegara al parlamento fracasaría, por más que el Frente Amplio (FA) cuenta con mayoría en ambas cámaras.
Uno de los que se mostró más crítico con la propuesta fue el vicepresidente Danilo Astori.
“Si el impuesto a la tierra tiene los efectos negativos que pienso puede tener, puede afectar el valor de la tierra y dificultar el mantenimiento de altos niveles de productividad en el agro”, dijo.
