Mujica quiere que 1.000 militares pasen a la policía

El presidente uruguayo José Mujica firmará la próxima semana un decreto a través del cual se habilitaría el pase a las filas policiales de unos mil suboficiales del ejército para reforzar la vigilancia en la vía pública de las principales ciudades.
“El principal objetivo es enfrentar el alza de los últimos meses en el índice de delitos, especialmente hurtos y rapiñas”, manifestó el ministro del Interior, Eduardo Bonomi. “Y hoy, para cumplir la tarea de vigilancia, unos de los mayores problemas que enfrenta la cartera es la carencia de personal en las comisarías”, añadió.
