La Universidad de Concepción del Uruguay y la Municipalidad realizarán hoy miércoles un acto en recordación de la adhesión de nuestra ciudad al Cabildo Abierto de 1810.
Con la presencia de autoridades municipales, universitarias, educativas y de las fuerzas de seguridad, la ceremonia se desarrollará a las 11.15, en la esquina de 8 de Junio y Ugarteche, donde una placa recuerda esta fecha.
Este acto marcará la continuación del 8 de junio de 2009, cuando se conmemoró la actuación de los movimientos de Chuquisaca y La Paz, conformando una Junta de Gobierno integrada por americanos.
