Parlamentarias en Portugal: la derecha aplastó al socialismo en las urnas y le arrebató el poder
El conservador Partido Socialdemócrata (PSD) logró un aplastante triunfo en las anticipadas elecciones parlamentarias portuguesas y le arrebatará el gobierno al actual primer ministro socialista, José Sócrates, según se desprende del recuento del 80 por ciento de los votos.
Según los resultados parciales, el PSD liderado por Pedro Passos Coelho, logró el respaldo del 40,6 por ciento del electorado, mientras que el Partido Socialista (PS) del premier obtuvo un 28,5 por ciento de los votos, informó la agencia de noticias DPA.
La jornada electoral se caracterizó además por una abstención elevada que supera el 42,3%, un récord histórico luego de la Revolución de los Claveles y del regreso a la democracia en 1974, según destaca la agencia de noticias Ansa.
