Prevención del cáncer de mama en los Centros de Salud
En el Mes de Prevención del Cáncer de Mama se realizará este miércoles 22 de octubre, en el Centro de Salud “La Concepción”, un taller sobre prevención de esta enfermedad a cargo de la ginecóloga Lis Altamirano desde las 10.30.
Se recomienda consultar una vez por año al ginecólogo, realizarse papanicolau y colposcopía; y una mamografía por año a partir de los 35 años. En caso de haber antecedentes familiares de cáncer de mama, es conveniente consultar al mastólogo para realizarse controles antes de esa edad. También se aconseja autoexaminarse las mamas mensualmente.
