Provinciales: La próxima semana el Comité Científico ingresará a la planta de Botnia-UPM para el segundo control
El secretario de Coordinación y Cooperación Internacional de la Cancillería Argentina y presidente de la Delegación Argentina en la Comisión Administradora del Río Uruguay (CARU), Hernán Orduna, detalló la continuidad del plan de monitoreo conjunto de la fábrica de pasta de celulosa instalada en Fray Bentos, su zona de incidencia y la desembocadura del río Gualeguaychú.
En ese marco, comunicó que la Dirección Nacional de Medio Ambiente ya autorizó el ingreso a la planta correspondiente a julio para el lunes 25, y que la próxima semana se podrá conocer el “informe corto” de lo que fueron las primeras mediciones tomadas en junio y analizadas en laboratorios de Canadá. Asimismo, ratificó que la CARU envió a los intendentes de la localidad entrerriana y su vecina uruguaya la solicitud de autorización para instalar las pantallas gigantes que transmitirán al momento las acciones de control.
Insistió con la “licencia social” para el dragado del río Uruguay; y señaló que el Comité Científico todavía no se ha expedido sobre la conveniencia o no del enfriamiento de efluentes. Durante esta jornada, permanecerá en Gualeguaychú, donde se reunirá con autoridades e integrantes de la Asamblea Ciudadana Ambiental.
