“Un educador debe tener ganas de vivir y tiene que demostrar que el peso de la vida no le resulta insoportable hasta el punto de hacerle arrastrar los pies con un gesto cansado. Mal trabajo haría el educador que dejase entrever que sólo vive porque no le queda otro remedio.
¿Cómo quiere animar para la vida si todo el mundo se da cuenta de que el sólo vivir es un aburrimiento? Peor sería todavía, si el chico se diera cuenta de que es la escuela aquello que le fastidia.
Un educador no debe dar miedo, porque el miedo impide la confianza, y sin confianza no hay educación posible. Da miedo:
– Aquél que enjuicia.
– Aquél que castiga sin razón.
– El que se muestra irónico.
