Rusia afirma que Kaddafi inició contactos con los rebeldes aunque descarta dejar el poder
Un emisario del Kremlin aseguró en Trípoli que el Gobierno libio mantiene contactos con los opositores, aunque el primer ministro del país africano descartó la salida del poder de Muammar Kaddafi, exigida por los insurgentes y por la coalición occidental que bombardea Libia desde hace tres meses.
El representante especial del Kremlin para Africa del Norte y Medio Oriente, Mijail Marguelov, dijo que ya estaban en curso “contactos directos entre Bengazi (el bastión rebelde en el Este) y Trípoli”, tras reunirse con el premier libio, Baghdadi Mahmudi, en la capital del país árabe.
Hasta ahora, ninguna de las dos partes implicadas en la crisis libia habían admitido la existencia de negociaciones para resolver el conflicto que ya causó miles de muertes.
Los rebeldes exigían antes de toda negociación la partida de poder de Kaddafi.
