Sindicalistas uruguayos cortan hoy el puente de Gualeguaychú
El paso internacional Gualeguaychú-Fray Bentos, se cortará nuevamente. Pero, esta vez, no serán los asambleístas anti-Botnia sino sindicalistas uruguayos que reclaman mejoras salariales y han decidido hacer notar su protesta. Los acompañarán, eso sí, trabajadores argentinos de la CTA.
El corte es organizado por la Confederación de Funcionarios del Estado (COFE) del vecino país, cuyos integrantes impedirán el acceso al Uruguay por el puente internacional General San Martín y realizarán paralelamente una asamblea ampliada sobre éste.
La medida retrotrae de inmediato al extenso corte de más de tres años que realizó la Asamblea Ciudadana Ambiental de Gualeguaychú en protesta por la instalación de una planta pastera, Botnia-UPM, cuyos desechos industriales van a parar al río Uruguay, de soberanía compartida, y al aire entrerriano como efecto transfronterizo.
