Timón el toro de la UCU, se presenta este martes en la Rural de Palermo
En la mañana de hoy, la Universidad de Concepción del Uruguay , a través de la Cabaña “La Fraternidad” presentará a Timón X942, toro raza Simmental, en la “125º Exposición de Ganadería Agricultura e Industria Internacional” organizada por la Sociedad Rural Argentina.
A partir de las 9 horas se realizará el desfile denominado “jura de raza” en el cual se exhibirán ante los jurados los diferentes ejemplares de ganado bovino de la raza Simmental.
En 2010 este ejemplar de raza Simmental ganó el primer premio en la categoría menores de dos años, y en 2011 compite en la categoría Senior. Cabe destacar que la Cabaña “La Fraternidad” recibió el año pasado una distinción de la Asociación Simmental de Argentina como cabaña debutante.
