Uruguay: el Senado aprobó la derogación de la ley de amnistía
Los senadores anularon la ley que protegió de juicios a violadores de los derechos humanos.
Fue en un acalorado debate en la Cámara alta donde muchos cuestionaban que era un tema cerrado pues la amnistía fue ratificada en dos plebiscitos, en los últimos 21 años.
La sanción anuló tres artículos de la llamada Ley de Caducidad por ser violatorios de la Constitución.
Por eso se la considera un paso importante para anular parte de la ley que, en 1986, amnistió a militares y policías, por lo que volverían a quedar expuestos ante la justicia oficiales acusados de cometer delitos de lesa humanidad.
Luego de su paso por diputados quien tendrá la última palabra sobre la cuestión será presidente José Mujica.
